MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: MAY 18 – 24, 2015!
A week of eating and eating and eating. A quick Disney evening, bowling, Mad Max, the first successful Dick Duquesne taping, and two BBQs. Not bad.
Enjoy!

Giant seaweed blob…the ocean is serious business

We’re spending one more day at the beach house before sayin’ the first of the mini goodbyes.

So many patterns I’ll remember from the house

Take a chance to kick off the day with a long bike ride

Taking the bike trail to San Clemente pier

San Clemente pier! Totally deserted, I guess it is Monday

Having a little mint choco icecream

A few hours later after hanging around the house, we pack up and make a move to eat something

Lil’ burger stand called A’s. Ate on the road

Since we had the time, thought we’d stop at Disneyland since our passes work on Mondays. Took a weird route to get through some open California scenery

Parked on the very top (uh oh must be busy)

First stop California adventure

Here for the pickle popcorn. OKAY. THEY HAVEN’T HAD IT since I got to try it the first time I noticed it. So sad…today’s “special” flavor was nacho cheese

Here’s the “nacho cheese” popcorn

Zach got a tiny choco square from Ghiradelli

The castle lookin’ so cute all dressed up for the 60th anniversary “Diamond year” of Disneyland

Picking up a fast pass for Haunted Mansion

Was pretty busy so took the opportunity to do some kiddy rides.

An Andrea Del Sarto show opens this summer, happy to see this little postcard delivered to my desk.

From work straight over to Sunset Blvd to the arclight

Having some ZA and cocktails with Kiki and Zeen before our movie

Cinerama dome bathrooms. Saw MAD MAX FURY ROAD and it’s so so so cool. Go see it IMAX!

Needed a few things for dinner

Kiki choppin’ chicken, Tweedy is very interested

Animalia opens soon! This is the cover image.

The gym got a shipment of towels in…

hitting up the world of bowling

A quick stop for some ahi tuna tacos

Head to South Pas! Hello my king

Going on a “hike” with my parents through the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena

Hiking trail goes around the “Colorado Street Bridge” aka Suicide Bridge

Some cute ass kittens found in my neighbor’s bushes! (Don’t worry – the mama came back and took them)

Snow’s ugly lion cut is growing out slightly…poor Snow

And the big night arrives for the first episode of Zach’s radio play

My first design project since 11th grade

The show is a noir radio detective story (That’s a comedy), they use live foley sounds to provide the atmosphere of the story. Here are some of the things for sound effects.

All the poster designs – I tried going with an art deco vibe.

Some photos from the event here. And when they get the podcast out I’ll share that too

Celebrating after! The event oversold. Congrats to Zeen!!!

Kiki looks cool even when she drops shit under the table

Sunday is the perfect day for a baseball game (say some people, I guess)

Kiki hooked us up with some field seats, so we got in our best Dodger blue ready to baseball

(Everybody is there for Dodger dogs anyways)

But we got to eat garlic fries so

My look is Mary Kate playin’ stickball from the beginning of It Takes Two

Time for our own little version of a Memorial weekend BBQ

Tristan and Sufi sharing a connection

And I’ll end the week with a Sufi and Kiki cuddle.
This next week I’m off to Portland for a few days! If you have any must-do/eat/see Portland recommendations I’d love to hear ’em.
Much love friends.
